It’s been a little while since I’ve done a possum fur throw in a funky colour like purple (usually the naturals/browns/blacks are more popular), so it was nice to be able to whip this one up!

This batch of hides was pretty scrummy, and you can really see the texture in the fur. What do you think? Just click the image to see a larger version.

Possum has a bad name in the U.S., through no fault of its own. The Australian brushtail possum isn’t related to the North American opossum, a less-adorable marsupial with a ratlike tail, but many folks in the U.S. don’t know the difference.
